What is Miswylltia?

THE NETWORK

Misgwrthcraoltaghwylltiaeth Television Services, or simply Miswylltia, is my personal tv network project currently under development. Started in early 2026, the project consists of 2 TV channels, John and Vera, which broadcast 20 hours a day, featuring a mix of news, weather, animation, comedy, documentaries, sport, films, lifestyle, music, art and drama. The network also includes a customised digital set-top box, known as the Digibox, as well as a collection of services that complement the experience.

THE PHILOSOPHY

It's a place where I can express myself and share how I see the world and the people around me. Unlike most modern television, Miswylltia is designed with care and intention. I see television as a friend in the corner. It stays there quietly. It doesn't demand anything from you, it simply waits until you're ready. It's there in everyday moments, and, honestly, I don't really know why I love television so much. It's simply part of who I am.

Please Note: Miswylltia is not a mockup, a joke, a fictional concept, or a hypothetical "what if". It is my real, long-term masterpiece project that I have been building dedicatedly for over 6 months, the very thing that makes me get out of bed every morning. There is still a long way to go, but every part of it is genuine and built with absolute passion.

The Digibox

WHAT IS A DIGIBOX?

The Digibox is Miswylltia's custom-built digital television receiver. A set-top box sits between your television and the broadcast signal, decoding, organising and presenting content through an easy-to-use interface. It acts as the gateway to the entire platform, bringing television and interactive services together in one place. Think of it as your Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, cable box or satellite receiver, but built specifically for Miswylltia.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

It combines live television, programme schedules, catch-up, local media playback and additional services, including weather, news, recipes, music, transit updates,and more, into a single experience. Every part of the interface is carefully designed to feel calm, playful and easy to use. The Digibox is currently under active development.
