John
John is Miswylltia's main entertainment channel, designed as a friendly, relaxed, and comforting presence
focused on warmth, everyday joy, humour, and simple pleasures.
Named after a familiar, ordinary first name
to feel less like a corporate brand and more like someone you know, he broadcasts daily on a digital
signal from 7.00 to 3.00, showing a mix of animation, comedy and lifestyle programming.
Unlike most television channels, John intentionally closes overnight. The daily closedown preserves the feeling that television has a beginning and an end, while also avoiding unnecessary overnight repeats.
Branding & Presentation
He uses yellow and magenta as his primary colors, sharing his typography with Miswylltia. Both channels feature idents built on an unpretentious concept: capturing everyday moments from video clips found online, paired with ambient sound or background music and the channel logo. It's raw.
